During a visit to the Italian Dolomites, I stopped at what has become one of the more Instagram famous locations in the region - the beautiful Lago di Brais. Fortunately, most of the people doing it for the 'gram didn't want to get up as early as I did to visit the lake.
I walked the shoreline next to about 6 other photographers and waited for the sunrise to bathe the nearby peaks in a warm glow. Definitely happy that I stopped!
